High flow grille - Fitment requirements:
Note - V.3 and V4 styles are easiest to fit, as no modifications are necessary. Unscrew and unclip, then fit the new ones. (Rad support stays in position.)
TOOLS REQUIRED:
- Flat blade screwdriver
- Philips head screwdriver
- Ratchet and 10mm socket
- 9mm Drill bit + Drill
- Grinder and cutting disc
- Hair dryer/ heat gun
- X3 m8x25mm bolts washers nuts
- Black spray paint
- Soft blanket
Installation Steps:

Remove all push/pull plastic trim clips from various locations, including above the grille, around the hood latch, underneath the bumper, and from the front wheel arch/inner guard to the front bumper.

Unscrew the Philips head screw in the center of the grille.

Carefully unclip the bumper from both sides where it meets the front guards and lower it onto a soft blanket.

Unclip the two electrical plugs on the passenger side.

After removing the bumper, unclip the outside air temp switch from the center bracket and remove the center grill bumper support.

Disassemble and modify the center support and side support brackets as follows:
- Drill out the spot welds using a 9mm drill bit.
- Cut and remove 40mm from the front edge of each side bracket for clearance.
- Paint the drilled and cut areas with gloss black spray paint to prevent rusting.
- Use a nutsert tool to add M6 threaded inserts to the lower half of the center bracket.

Reassemble the modified components with bolts and washers.

Optionally, remove the top side plastic inserts for improved airflow.

Install the new grille by removing screws and clips, tucking the electrical loom, and clipping in the new grille.

Reconnect electrical plugs and air temp sensor before refitting the bumper.
Important Considerations:
- This installation is complex and requires mechanical expertise.
- Removal of the center curved bar may impact insurance coverage and requires careful consideration.
- Future modifications for relocation of the curved bar are under development but not currently available.
