How to adjust washer jet spray position.
(All that's needed to adjust the spray direction is a small Flat blade screw driver into the washer jet opening then you can move the opening up and down, and twist side to side to aim wherever you desire.)
Curious about the buzz surrounding these washer jets? While some may find the original wiper arm style acceptable, many others have valid reasons for disliking them.
The original wiper arms' effectiveness is often hindered by several factors:
- Dust on the windscreen tends to smear rather than clean.
- Water distribution to the top side of the wiper blade is inadequate, leading to ineffective rinsing of dirt and debris.
- Dry sections of the wiper blade and the windscreen can scratch and smear debris before water reaches them.
In contrast, the bonnet-mounted washer jet provides comprehensive coverage across the entire windscreen, effectively wetting both above and below the wiper arm on the initial stroke. This results in quicker and more efficient cleaning compared to the traditional wiper arm washer style.
Those who have made the switch notice the difference immediately.
Compatible with the following models:
- 2020+ Isuzu D-MAX
- 2021+ Isuzu Mu-X
- 2020+ Mazda BT-50Â
Please note: If you have a bonnet-mounted UHF, these brackets may sit lower and exert pressure on the hose, potentially impeding water flow. In such cases, you'll need to reroute the hose to avoid compression from the UHF bracket.
